Poverty Requiem 2007
In 2007 OXFAM/NOVIB director Sylvia Borren wrote a protest text for choirs, with music by Peter Maissan, about global human needs and the lack of success to overcome these needs. Le Grand Cru was asked to create a choreography which would underline the message of the Requiem. It should be flexible, adaptable to other cultures and able to be executed by amateurs. The basic choreography was made in cooperation with dance students and amateurs in Rotterdam. After Dutch presentations the choreography was written down on internet. According to the Volkskrant it is the first time a choreography is accessible on the web. Dance teachers can use the outline and adapt to the level and culture of their group. So did e.g. the Lehigh Valley Charter High School Arts in the U.S, which students performed the choreography in front of the U.N. Building in New York and the World Bank in Washington D.C.

Goudkust in de Bijlmer 2000
The first of a number of projects between Frascati, a downtown theatre in Amsterdam, and different ethnic minorities living in a big suburb called the Bijlmer in A'dam South-East. It was organized with the Ghanaian community in Holland. The performance addressed the difference in values between first and second-generation Ghanaian women as a result of the influence of surrounding exogenous Dutch culture. A storyline links the dramatized interviews of the various generations. This opens a world of amazement and recognition to both native Dutch and migrant audiences. Goudkust in de Bijlmer was the first professional organized cooperation between Dutch directors and migrant actors and the first example of integrated community theatre presented in a national arena. National newspapers have brought a lot of attention to all participants.

Bir Ki Uç 2007
The Art foundation SKVR in Rotterdam asked Le Grand Cru to create a fusion between Turkish dance and modern dance with young ones of the R'dam Alevitisch Centre. This migrant community was interested to open their culture and mix it with modern dance. With the mapping method different fusion items sprang up to create a presentation on one of the cultural diverse evenings of the SKVR.
